A Global Citizenship Education programme aimed at empowering young people to adopt behaviours that show respect for people from other cultures and are in harmony with sustainable development. It combines training on global challenges, critical thinking and intercultural competence with basic dramatic techniques, in the belief that the process of empathy inherent in theatre is a powerful tool for reflecting on oneself and one’s own actions. The project’s output will be a catalogue of video monologues on the themes of sustainable development, expressed through the lens of global citizenship. Co-conceived by the Centre for International Cooperation, the Elementare Association and the Smart Social Cooperative.
